Spring 2011
March 20, 2011 at 5:21 pm | Posted in Anime | 1 CommentWatching Serial Experiments Lain still makes my head spin even after 13 years, so I might as well take a break to see what’s new in the coming season.
As usual, just a few points on the shows I’m looking forward to:
- More sequels in the form of Kämpfer für die Liebe and Gintama. While I welcome the latter, I dread the former. Neutral towards Maria Holic Alive and Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai II.
- C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control is directed by the same guy who did Mononoke and Kūchū Buranko?! Omg, my head is gonna spin. As for the story, can’t say much till I actually watch it.
- Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi looks like Junjou Romantica. Oh wait, it’s the same creator.
- Showa Monogatari is apparently a historical slice-of-life. Hmm… interesting.
- I know lotz of Kyoto Animation fans are looking forward to Nichijou, but it looks like Azumanga Daioh to me.
- Having expectations for Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san, Toriko, Deadman Wonderland, Ao no Exorcist and Sket Dance.
- Top picks are STEINS;GATE, A Channel (high resemblance to K-ON!) and Hana-Saku Iroha, in that order.
