Deep on the surface, but quite comprehensible and with an interesting premise to boot, C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control is going on my list to follow, even if I have to drop my AKB48 squeeing for it.
Yeah, this anime is really good. A group of close childhood friends have changed and drifted apart after a major incident that happened when they were young. The protagonist Jiitan used to be a confident outgoing leader of the group, but is now socially-withdrawn. Due to some circumstances, he sets out to reunite the friends again.
So far, it appears that Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai. is serious but not dramatic, with an intriguing slice-of-life story of 6 individuals have to look into themselves and reforge their bonds. Animation’s lovely too, and I do agree that the ending song is the most cheating of all. The lyrics perfectly describe the summer that they once shared, and we would probably get a heartwarming ending that makes all the fans cry. After all, I’m one person who cries at the final song 「secret base ～君がくれたもの～」 while watching the “ZONE FINAL in 日本武道館” DVD.
Currently my top pick for this season, ahead of A Channel.
